To Clinique or not to Clinique...that is the question

OK so I used to use Clinique on a very regular basis, it was all I wore..foundation, blush, eyeshadow, mascara, totally LOVE their quickliner, it's the only one I've really found that doesn't give me raccoon eyes during the day! So you get the picture...but since then I have branched out and tried different makeup brands. Reason 1 I found out I was allergic to silica/dimethicone/silicone(good thing I never got implants huh?!? JK) and actually Clinique never broke me out, in fact it was my saving grace after using Mary Kay for years and have HORRIBLE acne!! Reason 2, I feel like there are more/better brands for the money. OK now I'm rambling, so my dilemma is should I go pick up a few tried and true items I like just because it's bonus time or not worry about it because the "bonus" isn't that great? I know right? Wow what a hard core choice...I know I know I'm a bit shallow, and I promise that I have more life altering decisions than this on a day to day basis, but hey I can't always be serious right?!? And besides my significant other glazes over when I begin my ramble on makeup...so just some food for thought
